As a new dad, I’ve found these mental qualities to be in short supply, so I decided to give nootropics a try. You can read about my experiences here.

How can nootropics help martial artists? Well, if baseball, according to Yogi Bera is “90% half mental”, then karate, jiu-jitsu, mma, and other arts must be at least 95% three quarters mental!

All kidding aside, the ability to relax and focus–to quiet and prime your mind–while performing and learning new techniques is a major aspect of training. Smart drugs are a safe and healthy way to enhance your mental performance without risk of side effects or accusations of cheating.
